There is so much I want to say.
I don’t know where to start.
You left me without goodbye.
An action that broke my heart
And left me crying for days.
Dear Ashley,
I wanted to thank you for all you did for me.
Our connection to each other
was very special
like a key
in a locked door.
Your smile is like the sun
on a hot summer day.
You were the light of my life.
But most of all
you understood me
inside and out.
Why did you leave?
Was it something I did?
These are the questions
that haunt me

Ones I wish I had answers to.
I know you can’t
But sometimes I long
for you to return.
Dear Ashley,
I wish you can see now
How much I have changed.
Can you believe that
I am almost 17 now?
